In this project, I drew inspiration from Sounio near Athens, Greece. More specifically, I was inspired by the juxtaposition between the calm water and rugged rocks. Delving deeper into this binary, I explored how water can be both challenging and soft and how these contrasting states feel on the body. I rendered this feeling by creating two garments embodying each state: a catsuit that showcases the embracing nature of calm waters and a top and jogger that exemplifies the harshness and violence of unruly waters.
